TERMS OF USE

Scope

These terms govern use of n00b.gg. By registering or playing, you accept them.

User content (screenshot submissions)

Logged-in players can submit their own game screenshots for the daily puzzles. By uploading you confirm that you captured the screenshot yourself and grant the operator a simple, royalty-free right to use it in the game (including edits such as cropping and pixelation).

There is no entitlement to approval or use. Moderation may reject submissions without stating reasons and may remove approved content at any time, in particular upon third-party rights requests.

When used as a daily puzzle, the submitting player is credited by username.

Game & fair play

n00b.gg is a daily guessing game based on video game screenshots. Different modes (Daily, Archive, guest demo) may have different rules for progress and XP.

Manipulation, bots, alt accounts for advantage, abuse of bugs, or harassing other players are prohibited. Violations may lead to a ban.

On reasonable suspicion, moderation may revoke individual daily results; the affected day then counts as lost (including streak, XP and medals). You can appeal a revocation via support ticket — moderation can fully restore the result.

Account

You are responsible for keeping your account secure. A username is required. You can delete your account anytime in Settings.

Discord bot & Discord server

The official n00b.gg Discord bot ("SUDO") runs exclusively on our official n00b.gg Discord server and is not available for adding to other servers. Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines additionally apply.

The bot is provided as-is; its feature set may change. Abuse — such as spamming through bot features, circumventing moderation, or automated bulk queries — is prohibited and may lead to exclusion from the server. We may discontinue the bot at any time.

Content & liability

Game titles, screenshots, and metadata may come from third parties and serve only the game purpose. We aim for availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

Liability for slight negligence is excluded where permitted by law.

Changes

We may adjust the game, features, and these terms. Material changes will be communicated appropriately.
